Full page pet commissions
flat rate: $240 USD / $325 CAD
Full page, full-colour artwork.
- 4 unique paintings, plus various sketches and unlimited text boxes. I aim to capture your pet’s personality, and every detail will be tailored to your family’s unique story.
- All animals welcome! Up to 3 pets can be featured on 1 page!
- I’m also happy to draw YOU along with your pet!

In the hopes of accommodating more budgets, I’ve created this new format. It keeps the spirit and collage-style of the nature journal page, just more condensed.
Flexible pricing (starting at 75$ USD for 1 painting, +50 USD for each additional painting)

- Includes the pet’s name and up to 1 text box (optional)

Getting started
During the planning stage, I’ll ask for whatever photos and information about your pet(s) that you would like to share with me. The more the better!
To help spark ideas, I will send a pet questionnaire that you can fill out.
I love turning random photos and information into a cohesive page design, but you’re also welcome to share any ideas you have for the page and I will be sure to incorporate them.
Optional: If you’d prefer to chat face-to-face, we can schedule a 15-30 minute video call to talk about your pet and potential ideas for the page.
Revision process
1st stage - SKETCH
I will send you a potential page layout, including my sketches in case they spark an idea for something else we can include.
2nd stage - COLOURS
This update shows you my initial layer of colour, to give you a sense of the overall colour palette of the page.
Final check
This is the last chance to request small tweaks or changes. I will finalize the art, making everything as polished as possible.
The price includes up to TWO major revisions during the 1st or 2nd stage

I’m happy to do small tweaks up until the very end, at no extra cost
What is considered a small tweak:
Move/resize/modify text, change font
Resize different elements, move elements slightly
Recolor text or line-art
Add or change little doodles
***note: I include this just for my protection, in case of extreme circumstances (ex. if someone wanted to completely change the page at the very end). The reality is that I’ve never charged anyone for extra revisions, and I don’t expect to.

The overall experience working with Sophie was great. She spent time understanding our need and gathering information and pictures, then got straight to work. She provided regular feedback and managed to get great results in a very tight timeline (she managed to get a good chunk of the final poster as well as a Christmas card in time to put under the Christmas tree even though we had only started discussing 2 weeks before only!). And, best of all, her rendition of our dog is amazing: very close to the original, yet beautifully stylized. Highly recommended!

Printing and shipping
For clients in Canada or the USA, I can have your commission professionally printed and shipped to you for $50 USD ($50 CAD for orders within Canada). For an extra 15$, I will include a tracking number with your shipment.
The final print will be 8.5 by 11 inches, printed on a beautiful textured paper that really compliments the field journal style.
Please allow 2-4 weeks from the time the final artwork is approved for it to arrive.

If you’d like to save on shipping costs and support a local business, I can help you find a printing center. If you give me your general location (your city and/or cities near you), I will do a google search based on what I personally look for in a printer, and give you my recommendations. I will also send you a print-ready file type.
I can’t personally vouch for any of the places I suggest, but I’ve done this for a few commissions so far, and everyone has been very happy with the quality of their prints!
PRIVACY
Due to the personal nature of these commissions, your privacy is very important to me!
Any photos you send me will be kept private and deleted upon completion of the commission.
I will only share the final page with your permission. I’m happy to hide or modify any information or parts of the page that you’d prefer to keep private.
I will not share your page online until after its completion - and, in the case of gifts, until after it has been delivered.
